Step into The Forest Escape, set on an open field where outdoor living takes centre stage.

A place where you start the day together, where children can play freely, and where you naturally slip into the rhythm of nature. Not tucked away in isolation, but surrounded by fellow outdoor lovers in a warm and welcoming setting.


The surroundings

Gooise Heide is made for switching off from the rush of everyday life. Here, the day begins with sunshine on your face and fresh air in your lungs, while adventure is already waiting for you. Head out for a walk across the heathland, hop on a bike, or let the children explore the landscape. Prefer a slower pace? In the brasserie, a beer from Gooise Brouwerij or a local sharing platter awaits — perfect for letting the day unfold at its own relaxed pace.


The layout

Inside, The Forest Escape feels intimate and comfortable, with everything you need for a relaxing stay for up to five guests. There is a cosy bedroom with a double bed and a second bedroom with a bunk bed and a single bed, ideal for children or friends. The fully equipped kitchen invites you to cook together and enjoy long evenings around the table, with no need to rush. When you arrive, there is nothing left to think about. The beds are already freshly made, so you can start enjoying your stay right away and fully embrace outdoor living.


Both inside and out on the veranda, there is plenty of space to play games, catch up, or simply enjoy each other’s company while the day slowly turns into evening. In the private hot tub, you can completely unwind, surrounded by nature.


As the air cools down, the pellet stove brings warmth and atmosphere, as if the campfire has followed you indoors. Thanks to the infrared heating blanket, it stays wonderfully comfortable, allowing you to linger just a little longer and truly soak up the peace of Gooise Heide.

    De super leuke medewerkers. Dee heerlijke douche. Goede bedden. De zon hielp ook. Het park ligt in een prachtige omgeving. Ons chalet was leuk gelegen. Chalets lagen in de rondte met een grote overkapping in het midden. Erg gezellig. Alles was heel schoon. We hebben een heerlijk weekend gehad.

    Verblijf was top. Ligging is ook prachtig. Goeie uitvalsbasis naar verschillende plekken toe. Het is alleen jammer dat er geen zwemfaciliteiten zijn op het complex bij heel warm weer. Al met al kunnen genieten en tot rust kunnen komen met het gezin.

    De douche is erg fijn, lekker groot en fatsoenlijke straal. Erg prettig een ruime douche en wc in de tent. Bedden zijn opgemaakt, heel erg fijn na een lange reis.

    Heerlijk ontspannen kunnen genieten van de rust, de speeltuin voor klein kind van 6 jaar , hottub was goed. Restaurant heeft ook goede kaart en zeer vriendelijke bediening.

    Heerlijke vakantie gehad, prachtige locatie, mooie tent, grote veranda. Heerlijke hot tub.

    Genieten in de natuur met topservice! ​We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad op de Gooise heide, mede dankzij het warme welkom van Debbie en Herman. Alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd: van lekkere attenties bij aankomst en opgemaakte bedden tot een heerlijk frisse uitstraling. ​Zelfs op de frissere dagen was het puur genieten; de pelletkachel hield ons lekker warm en onder de veranda sta je direct in contact met de natuur. Tel daar de heerlijke hottub en de prima huurfietsen (perfect voor de Fortenroute en Gooise Vecht!) bij op, en je hebt de ideale mini-vakantie. Bedankt voor alles!

    Super vriendelijk en geïnteresseerd personeel. Schone glampingtent met heerlijk opgemaakte bedden, schone handdoeken en badjassen met slippers voor bij de hottub. Die was ook al warm en klaar voor gebruik. Het vakantiegevoel begon direct!
